ALISSA BELL | INTERN PROJECT
I keep this project in my portfolio mostly because I love nostalgia but also because it was the first project I designed that produced a final outcome I was proud of and felt very “me”. I used images of trees I had photographed and then made them into vector artwork, had letterpress plates made, mixed the ink and printed the cards myself - a very fun process. The stationery set is a compilation of a Redwood Tree, Palm Tree and Cypress Tree to give nods to all the places I had called home; Northern California, Los Angeles & South Carolina.
